A Hearty Mes Amis Fall Thanks!!!

To all my Mes Amis Friends and Family:

“How many slams in an old screen door? Depends how loud you shut it.
How many slices in a bread? Depends how thin you cut it.
 How much good inside a day? Depends how good you live 'em.
How much love inside a friend? Depends how much you give 'em.”
― Shel Silverstein

It has been a full year of since we began the Mes Amis Shows.  Last fall we debutted the first Mes Amis show and since then, the show has propelled into one of the Top Shows in the Country.  It is not my doing, it is the doing of the Mes Amis friends and family....that is the meaning of Mes Amis....that is the core of our name.

Our friends and family have given a lot to this show and I hold their friendship and so much gratitude dearly in my heart.

Next year, I look forward to making the show even better, with fresh faces, many familiar faces and even stronger accolades.  I also look forward to seeing how the changes in Roseville's landscape will lend to the face of our show...we may take advantage and make the environment even more pleasant!

But to all the customers who like us on Facebook, save their postcards on their calendar, bring their friends and share with them that this is their favorite show by far;
to all the vendors that love the show and market like crazy for us without us even knowing in their interviews, at other shows, by making special Mes Amis piles, and by staying up late and arriving very early to create vignettes to make their spaces amazing;

to the City of Roseville employees that work extra hard at making sure that despite the construction and other events our roads are clear and clean, safe and ready;
to the neighbors that remember to move their cars from their residences so that we can have their spot for the show;
to the gardeners that remember to shut off the sprinklers to make sure inventory doesn't get wet as set up (almost 100% this time around - sorry Dwayne :) );
to our music and emcee Derek Thomas and his muscians for making sure we had a great vintage music vibe and took the time to make sure his booth was "vintage" looking and blended right in;
to Zizi Ukestad for spending the night several times the week of the show to help me when Mark and family were unable, and my sister Michelle who had the job before that;
Great friends Rose, Annette and Randy
 to Annette Eagle for making sure our booth looked fantastic despite her health issues;
to Randy Pacheco and Katy Halligan who constantly offer to run postcards and posters to keep the
marketing going;
The lovely work of Trish Everett
to Zizi Ukestad, Ashton Smith and Colette Miller who offered to take the pictures of the show this time around and capture our beautiful fall moments;
My buddy - Zizi Ukestad

my girls, Victoria and Faith
to my daughter Victoria who despite her crazy senior year schedule, still takes the time to work as a porter before during and after the show for her momma and is not allowed to use any of those 17 hours of the work day towards community service!;
to my daughter Faith Bryan that works really hard at managing the trailer at 3am and logging in so many admin hours at home helping me with brutal honesty; and to my husband who works so hard at logging the smallest details along the way before, during and after the show so that we know where we can improve upon along the way despite his immensely stressful job and the baking responsibilities here at home

to all of you and those I may have forgotten,
thank you so much!!!
